Wireless Networking connects devices together without any wires hence the term wireless. There are many types of wireless speeds and bands, and use network standards known as 802.11

The Strengths Range from 11Mbps to 1300Mbps or 1.3Gbps MBps for Megabits per second and G for Gigabits per second and Bands of 2.4MHz and 5MHz. 2.4 can travel further while 5 has a stronger connection.

The following strengths and Bands are:

802.11n - Currently the most used Wireless standard has a maximum speed of 600Mbps on 2.4 and 5

802.11ac - The Newest Wireless Standard right now has a  maximum speed of 1300Mbps on 5 and 600 on 2.4
